Frances Fox

Frances Fox is not the loudest animal in the forest. He doesn’t roar, stomp, or show off his teeth. Frances watches.

Every morning, he sits quietly among the wildflowers and listens. He listens to the grass bend in the wind, to the birds stretching their wings, and to the tiny creatures who aren’t brave enough to speak out loud yet. Frances believes the forest should feel safe.

When the rain comes too hard, he curls his tail around the flowers so they don’t bend too far. When the night feels scary, he stays awake just a little longer so others can sleep. And when someone feels small or unsure, Frances sits close close enough to say, “You’re not alone.”

He doesn’t chase danger away with noise. He does it with calm.

Frances knows that being gentle doesn’t mean being weak. It means being strong enough to protect without scaring anyone.

That’s why Frances is happiest in children’s rooms and nurseries. He stands watch during naps, bedtime stories, and quiet moments of growing. He reminds little ones that they are safe, cared for, and free to dream because someone kind is always looking out for them.

And Frances will stay right there, tail curled, eyes soft, guarding the space where imagination grows.
